So you’re buying a Veeder-Root probe for a brand new installation and you’re realizing that you need the float installation kit to go along with it. Well, Veeder-Root offers 20 different probe installation kits so you can add a random one to your cart and be on your merry way…right? I mean, they’re both Veeder-Root parts and it’s not like you’re buying an Omntec float kit for your Veeder-Root probe, so all should be fine…right? Sorry to say, but that will not work at all!
You see, the probe installation kit you need not only depends on the type of probe you’re purchasing, but it also depends on multiple other factors—the type of product in your tank and also the riser opening size. So how on earth are you going to be able to figure out which kit you need?!
Fear not, as Global Fueling Systems has developed a way to fix your pesky probe-lem! We categorized and separated all 20 float kits to help you decide on the best one that fits your needs!
First, determine the type of product in your tank, whether it’s gasoline, diesel, alternative fluid, light oil, or heavy oil. If you are unsure which category your product falls under, simply hover over our product tip and see if your product is in the list!

Next, determine the riser opening size you have, whether it’s 2”, 3”, or 4” openings (with 2” and 4” being the most common). All of our installation skits have been labeled for your ease with which size riser openings they’re for.

So really, the only thing you have to figure out is what cable length you need to connect your probe to your junction box. With Global Fueling Systems taking all the guesswork out of the way, we’ve solved your float probe-lem so it really is that easy!
